BASKETBALL DROP-IN
Gather your friends and come "hoop it up" at Northside Park. Whether you want to run full court or just "shoot around" we can accommodate your needs on two full courts. Basketballs are available for loan with a current drivers license. Participants must wear non-marking basketball shoes only. On non-school days there will be reserved areas for players 18 years and younger provided there is enough interest.

BOATING CLASSES, MARYLAND BASIC CERTIFICATION * 414503
These classes cover a variety of topics that anyone who navigates a vessel in Maryland waters should be familiar with. The Maryland Basic Boating Certification Course is mandatory for anyone born after June 30, 1972 who wishes to operate a vessel in Maryland.

BOATING CLASS...PILOTING THE BAY * 414512A
The Coastal Bays offer many opportunities and challenges for local boaters. An understanding of the “highway signs” is essential to navigate these waters safely. This popular course is designed to create a better understanding of the aids to navigation that identify the navigable channels and safe waters between the Little Assawoman, Assawoman, Isle of Wight, Sinepuxent, and Chincoteague Bays.

OBEDIENCE CLASSES, DOG * 326506A ADVANCED * 326509A BEGINNERS
Does your dog walk you, jump on visitors, and chew on everything except that expensive toy you spent hours selecting? Then teach your faithful friend! Our classes aren’t going to the dogs, but the dogs are going to our classes. Dogs naturally want to please their owners and certain teaching skills are necessary to communicate what you want from them. This intensive 8-session class helps you establish a new, positive relationship from which both you and your pet can benefit. The Level I Beginner Class is for the inexperienced dog, while the Level II Advanced Class is for the more experienced dog that has already graduated from prior classes. All Dog Obedience Level I participants should not bring their dogs to the first class.

OBEDIENCE CLASS, PUPPY * 326508A
Get your puppy off on the right paw, with obedience classes designed just for the little ones. This instructional, as well as socialization class begins with a one hour discussion o training methods, house breaking procedures, equipment needed and its uses, and problem solving. This is an orientation class to Dog Obedience Level I Beginner Class. All participants should remember not to bring their puppy to the first discussion class of the eight-week session. The first discussion class will be held at 7:00 p.m., along with the beginner dog class. All remaining puppy classes will be from 7:45 - 8:15 p.m. Puppies must be at least eight weeks old, but not older than six months.
