Town of Ocean City, Md. Launches the "Ocean City Free-for-All"

"Ocean City Free-for-All" website and weekly email blast alleviates frugality fatigue for visitors - concerts and events are free in OC - no coupons needed!

Ocean City, Md. (May 19, 2011) - Chances are your inbox is loaded with Groupon, Living Social, Eversave, and other daily deals, and if you're like us, you're starting to become overwhelmed. Luckily, you don't need to scour the internet to visit Ocean City, Md., on the cheap. To help visitors make the most out of their vacation and budget, the town has created the Ocean City Free-for-All website and email blast. The Ocean City Free-for-All
is a compilation of all of the free concerts, events and family fun being offered on a weekly and monthly basis. Visit www.OCFreeForAll.com to opt in.

"The Ocean City Free-for-All is our way of reminding visitors that Ocean City is an affordable and quality vacation destination for families," said Ocean City Mayor Rick Meehan "You hear a lot about online deals and vouchers these days, but you don't need these to save money in Ocean City. The best things are free in OC and this is our way of reminding people to take advantage."

Each week, the website and email blast will be updated with a "Free Featured Event." Events include the Ocean City Air Show (preview day on June 10, official show June 11 - 12), The Dew Tour Festival Village (July 21 - 24), Ocean City's Sizzlin' Summer of Stars Concert Series, hosted by Radio Disney AM 640, and free family activities including movies and concerts on the beach along with Family Beach Olympics, Sundaes in the Park and Sunset Park Party Nights. The Ocean City Free-for-All site and email blast will run throughout the summer.
