Ocean City Tourism Launches “Only in Ocean City” Social Series Featuring Stephanie Pratt
Ocean City, Maryland (March 9, 2026): Ocean City, Maryland Tourism is bringing a fresh, high-energy twist to destination storytelling with the launch of Only in Ocean City, a new social video series debuting Friday, April 3 highlighting the beloved east coast beach town.
Designed to spotlight the unexpected experiences, coastal charm, and one-of-a-kind adventures found throughout Ocean City, Maryland, the series follows television personality Stephanie Pratt as she takes on six curated challenges in a single day. From iconic boardwalk moments to experiences that showcase the destination’s unique personality, each challenge highlights what makes Ocean City truly distinctive.
But there’s more than bragging rights on the line. If Stephanie successfully completes all six challenges, $5,000 will be donated to Diakonia, a local Ocean City, Maryland nonprofit providing food assistance, housing support, and essential resources to neighbors in need.
“Only in Ocean City is about showing people there’s more here than they might expect,” said Tom Perlozzo, Director of Tourism & Business Development for the Town of Ocean City. “Working with Stephanie gave us the opportunity to introduce Ocean City to new audiences in a fun and authentic way. What stood out most was seeing her fully embrace the day, stepping outside of what viewers may have seen in the past and genuinely engaging with our businesses and community. That energy is exactly what Ocean City is all about.”
The series blends entertainment with purpose, using a fast-paced challenge format to showcase local businesses, outdoor adventures, and memorable moments that reflect the destination's spirit. For Stephanie, the experience revealed a side of Ocean City she didn’t expect. “I came in thinking I knew what to expect from a beach town,” said Pratt. “But Ocean City surprised me. There’s so much packed into one place. The energy, the people, the local beauty. It really felt like discovering a hidden gem. And knowing that completing these challenges would support a local charity made it even more meaningful.”
Produced in partnership with Amigo Creative, Only in Ocean City will premiere on Ocean City Tourism’s social platforms, with new episodes released weekly beginning April 3 and the season finale airing in May.
