The Ocean City Boardwalk is the perfect place to spend with your kids. There are so many fun things to do! No visit to Ocean City, MD would be complete without spending time "cruisin" the Ocean City Boardwalk in a classic boardwalk pedal car.  Dandy Don's Bike Rental is located on 12th street and the boardwalk under the Howard Johnson Hotel.  Four pedal cars are available (Blue, Red, White, & Yellow), all of which feature working AM/FM radios with CD players and can accommodate two people comfortably.  

No desitination will ever be complete for a kiddo who can't get enough of cruising than good ole fashion Go-Karts. Every October, Endless Summer Cruisin' brings over 2500 classic cars and thousands of spectators to Ocean City for a weekend of car shows, national vendors, live music, and celebrity meet and greets.  Unlike the spring event, which features cars from 1979 and before, Endless Summer is open to all automobiles.

Check out high speed action from dirt stock car racing and drag racing.  Events run from April through early November.  The Delaware International Speedway is a racing lover's favorite situated on the Delaware and Maryland border only 34 miles from Ocean City, MD.  On site you will find the Delaware Speedway half-mile track made primarily of moist clay and a quarter-mile drag stip. 

The Fall Championships are one of the top events at this famed speedway, and there are plenty of scheduled stock car-type racing events. Able to seat some 4,000 people in its general admission grandstands, the pit area can handle up to 1,000 bodies. Of course, bring ear protection on race days so your child cna truly enjoy some live racing.

If you'd like to add a few history lessons in with your auto-themed vacation, there's no place like the Classic Motor Musuem of St. Michaels, to stop by on your way home from Ocean City.  Car lovers can explore pre and post WWII classic automobiles, mid-century muscle cars, vintage trucks, motorcycles, and other era inspired collectibles in the Exhibit Barn.
