What is the best airport to fly into to get to OCMD? What additional travel is required after the flight? I'm coming from the CVG Airport. Thanks!

The nearest major commercial airports to OC are all about 3 hours away. They are Washington Dulles (IAD), Washington National (DCA), Baltimore (BWI), or Philadelphia (PHl). From any of them you would need to rent a car and drive to OC.

You also can take a connecting flight to Salisbury-Ocean City Regional Airport (SBY) which is about 30 miles from OC. They are only serviced by American Airlines which only has direct flights to Philadelphia and Charlotte, so you can fly from CVG to either of these airports and then to OC. Once you get to Salisbury you will need to rent a car, take a taxi, or arrange other transportation to get to OC.

In the unlikely event you have access to a private airplane or charter, you can fly to the Ocean City Airport (OXB) which is General Aviation (no commercial flights) only. It is located about 5 miles outside of Ocean City and you can take a cab from there to OC.

BWI is the easiest to fly into, but it is 2.25 hours from Ocean City.  Salisbury (MD) Airport, code SBY, is a smaller airport and is about 30 minutes away.  The Bayrunner Shuttle picks up at both airports and will drop you off in Ocean City.  You can also rent a car at either airport. BWI will have many more flight options for you.
