Can I take a ferry if I am driving from Fredericksburg, VA to Ocean City?
Submitted by Jenny J, Fredericksburg VA on July 29, 2019
I live in northern Virginia so I can be sure that here is no ferry on any sensible route from Fredericksburg, VA to Ocean City, MD. Your best bet is to take Route 301 North to Route 50 East or take I-95 North to I-495 East (Washington Beltway outer loop) to Route 50 East. Route 50 will take you all the way to OC!
Hey Jenny,
The only ferry that goes is from NJ to Delaware and you'd take Route 1 down to OC.
There is no ferry that would be practical for you to take. You could drive to Cape May, NJ and take the ferry over to Lewes, DE if you wanted. That would add about 4-6 hours to your trip.
