Can you walk to the boardwalk from 76th Street? Or how far away is it?

It is a little over 2.5 miles from 75th Street to the north end of the boardwalk and about 5 miles to the south end. You could walk it, but it would be a long walk. The bus is a great alternative.

Centreville, VA Answered: August 5, 2019 Insider Since 2010You can walk there but it would be about a 5-7 mile walk. The bus would be a much easier option. The Boardwalk starts at the Inlet and ends at 27th Street. The rides and the more heavily traveled areas are below 5th Street. The bus can take you right to the start of the Boardwalk.

That's quite a walk, honestly. I believe you would be walking about 2-3 miles from 76th. You can always use the bus to the boardwalk which begins on 27th street.
