Are there bicycle racks at the tram car stations? Wondering if I can ride my bike and park it at the tram station so I can walk the boards.
Submitted by Regina I, Newark DE on September 23, 2019There are bicycle racks on First Street and at Trimper's. I was just by the Tram Station and did not notice any there.
FYI - the tram is no longer running for the season. The trams schedule can be found here

Submitted by Nikki F, Herndon VA on September 18, 2019There are no bath houses or similar where you can take a private shower or change your clothes anywhere in OC. There are some rinse off showers along the boardwalk and beach near the inlet for washing salt and sand off your body while wearing your bathing attire. These showers will be removed/shutdown for the season in the next few weeks.

Submitted by Pete L, Shady Side MD on September 12, 2019Yes, click here to see the schedule. There are lifeguards about every 6-8 blocks apart. My advice is to move near one when swimming. And if the water is rough, just stay out. That is your safest bet for staying safe. Have fun at the beach.
There are also lifeguards driving the beach in quads. If you see an emergency call 911. Help is typically close by.

Submitted by Lois S, Mechanicsburg PA on September 12, 2019Many are open weekends from 10 am until 5 pm for the entire month of October. Some are open all year on weekends provided the weather is nice. We found shops open in early December last year.
