Horseback Riding in Ocean City, MD
If you love horses, we’ve got a great place to ride. Ocean City, Maryland now allows horseback riding on the beach during winter and early spring. And horseback riding tours are also available on nearby scenic trails.
Those wishing to ride their own horse on the beach must complete an application. Applications can be obtained from the City Clerk's Office in City Hall at 301 Baltimore Avenue or online at www.oceancitymd.gov. Please note: Horses are not provided to rent.
The cost is $20.00 for a single-day permit and $50.00 for a seasonal permit. Horseback riding will be allowed on the beach beginning at 27th Street and extending south to the Inlet jetty between the hours of 6:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. from November 1st to March 30th.
