Springfest (April 24-27): Kick off the season at Springfest, an annual celebration of arts, crafts, food, and live music at the Ocean City Inlet. With family-friendly activities and an array of vendors, this festival is the perfect way to dive into springtime fun. Don’t forget to check out the Recreation Dancers Spring Performance on Thursday, April 24, on the indoor stage at 12:30 PM.

Racquet Center Opens for the Season (May 16): Located at 61st St. & the Bay in Ocean City, MD, this premier facility offers four premier tennis courts, three Lee Fast Dry Clay tennis courts, and six dedicated asphalt pickleball courts. Spring Family Movie Nights in the Park (May 16 and 23): Enjoy a fun and relaxing evening under the stars at Bayside Park, where family-friendly movies will be shown on a giant projection screen. Grab a chair or blanket, bring the whole family, and settle in for a free movie night by the bay. Migration will be showing on May 16, and Inside Out 2 will be showing on May 23. Don't forget to check out the concessions available for purchase. Movies start at dusk, around 8:00 p.m.

Spring Pickleball Tournament (May 17-18): The pickleball craze continues at Northside Park! For seasoned players, this tournament is the perfect way to stay competitive and connect with other passionate enthusiasts. Registration deadline is May 2nd.

Northside Park

Located at 125th Street, Northside Park is Ocean City’s largest and most popular park. This 58-acre park has everything – lighted sports fields, a fishing lagoon, playgrounds, walking paths, and even two piers. You can also check out the huge gym, community rooms, and sports arena. Plus, there’s a fitness area, picnic spots, and kayak/SUP rentals available through October. It’s the perfect place to hang out and enjoy the outdoors!

Sunset Park

Situated on South Division Street and the Bay, Sunset Park lives up to its name by offering breathtaking views of the sunset over the water. This smaller park is ideal for a peaceful stroll or simply sitting back and taking in the sights.

Ocean City Dog Playground

Located on 94th Street, this dog-friendly park is a haven for your furry friends. Let your pup run and play while you soak up the spring sunshine. It features a large pavilion, dog areas, agility obstacles, a doggie pool (seasonal), and more. To access the park, submit a registration form at Northside Park with your dog’s vaccination records. Gorman Park

Nestled on 136th Street, Gorman Park is a hidden gem featuring tennis, racquet, and pickleball courts, a playground, and shaded picnic areas. It’s a great spot for families looking to enjoy a spring afternoon outdoors.
