Memorial Day Celebration – May 25, 2025
Start the summer season with pride and reflection. This year’s keynote address will be delivered by Maj. Gen. Janeen L. Birckhead of the Maryland Army National Guard. Members of each branch of the U.S. Military will lay wreaths at their respective insignias in a moving tribute to the fallen. Expect a few words from Mayor Rick Meehan as well as a surprise from the sky!
Summer Fun for the Whole Family – June–August 2025
Enjoy a season of free, family-friendly entertainment all summer long:
- Monday Night Beach Dance Parties – Bust a move at Caroline Street with all-ages DJ dance parties.
- Sunset Park Party Nights – Catch live music with a bayfront view every Thursday. Bring a chair and your dancing shoes!
- Movies on the Beach – Watch free movies under the stars at the Carousel Hotel (118th Street) each week.
- Sundaes in the Park – Cap off your weekend with music, fireworks, family fun, and—of course—ice cream at Northside Park.
Historical Exhibits at the New OC Museum – All Year
Take a step back in time with a hands-on exhibit tracing Ocean City’s transformation from a quiet fishing village to the thriving coastal destination it is today. Look out for Mobile Museum exhibits are Town and at the Ocean City Convention Center. A must-see for history buffs and beach lovers alike.
Summer Send Off - August 21-24, 2025
We’re lighting up the end of summer—literally! Head downtown for Ocean City’s first-ever Balloon Glow, featuring larger-than-life hot air balloons glowing against the evening sky right on the beach. It’s a breathtaking, family-friendly event you won’t want to miss.
OC Seafood Festival - September 6, 2025
Get ready to indulge in the best bites the coast has to offer! The First Annual Seafood Festival at Northside Park is a celebration of everything fresh, local, and delicious—steamed crabs, oysters, shrimp, and more. Sunfest – October 23–26, 2025
Ocean City’s signature fall festival returns with live music, delicious food, artisan vendors, and family fun—all set against the stunning backdrop of the beach at the Inlet Lot.
Rising Tides Festival – November 22, 2025
Get ready for a high-energy coastal experience! The 70s Soul Jam kicks off in the Performing Arts Center from 2PM - 4PM and includes performances by The Spinners, The Legendary Blue Notes, and William Hart's Delfonics. Stick around for the Forever Young Tour headlined by Vanilla and hosted by Chris Kirkpatrick of *NSYNC. Glide across the roller rink, hit the silent disco, grab custom swag from brand activations, or chill in one of the lounge zones. 150th Anniversary Gala – December 12, 2025
We’ll close out this milestone year in style with a formal gala featuring community leaders, longtime locals, and special guests. Join us for an evening of recognition, reflection—and a little dancing, too.
