Be sure to mark your calendar for upcoming camp registration dates and visit camps.oceancitymd.gov to explore all of this year’s camp offerings – plus read below to learn more! 

JANUARY 31 (9 a.m. - 12 p.m.) - Registration for Camp Horizon and Scamper Camp opens to residents in-person at Northside Park Recreation Complex.

FEBRUARY 2 (7:30 a.m.) - In-Person & Online registration opens to residents and property owners.

FEBRUARY 10 (7:30 a.m.) - In-Person Registration at Northside Park Recreation Complex opens for non-residents.

FEBRUARY 11 (8:30 a.m.) - Online Registration opens for non-residents.

PLEASE NOTE! Camp Horizon and Scamper Camp registration is only available in-person at Northside Park Recreation Complex. All camps will require a non-refundable, non-transferrable deposit. The remaining balances are due 10 days prior to the first day of camp. 

Sports Camps

OC Recreation and Parks offers a wide range of sports camps for kids who love to stay active and try new skills. Young athletes can build confidence and teamwork all summer long. Soccer, lacrosse, field hockey, volleyball, baseball, basketball, golf, skate camp and so much more are offered, giving kids plenty of opportunities to stay moving while having fun.

For kids who love to create, imagine, and express themselves, Ocean City’s arts and creative camps offer something special. Camps like Art Adventure, Crafty Creations, and Cooking encourage hands-on creativity while Lego (new!), Robot, and Model Rocket Camp blend learning with play. Performing arts programs such as Schoolhouse Stage Tots and Rockets Drama, Showtime Dance, and Ballerina Beach Babies, give kids the chance to shine on stage and explore movement and performance in a fun, supportive setting.

Outdoor Camps

Take advantage of Ocean City’s unique coastal environment with outdoor adventure-based camps designed for hands-on exploration. Kids can enjoy water-based activities at Kayak, Stand-Up Paddleboard (SUP), Endless Summer Surfing, and Boogie Board Camp, or connect with nature through Fishing and Estuary Explorers camp. The popular Junior Beach Patrol camps and one-day seminars offer beach safety, education, physical fitness and team work, all while spending time on the sand and by the ocean.

Ocean City’s classic day camps provide a fun, structured option for families looking for full-day summer experiences. Camp Horizon and Scamper Camp feature themed activities, games, crafts, outdoor play, and sometimes field trips! These camps are a great choice for children who enjoy a variety and making new friends. Be sure to check out some of the new end of summer day camps as well!
