When planning a spring break trip, one of the most important decisions is deciding where to stay. Great accommodations can make a visit that much more memorable, especially when they offer a variety of amenities! Though staying anywhere throughout town will have benefits, different spots may be extra ideal for your family or friend group depending on what you enjoy. To make the decision easier, we’ve rounded up some of our top recommended hotels throughout town. With options that include oceanfront views, convenient dining just steps from your room, or rooms close to the action of the boardwalk, Ocean City has it all!

Boardwalk Stays
Back to Top of ListIf your family or friend group enjoys spending free time playing games, enjoying tasty treats, and going for oceanside strolls, staying on the boardwalk may be the best option for you! Boardwalk stays keep you fully immersed in the hustle and bustle of downtown.

Staying at the Howard Johnson Oceanfront Plaza is always a great idea, but especially if you value location. Affixed right on the boardwalk, the hotel faces the ocean for beautiful seaside views. Rooms are spacious and feature balconies overlooking the boardwalk. There is an on-site theater, and a large, heated indoor pool is the perfect place to relax after a day of adventuring around town. There’s nothing better than watching the sunset, cup of coffee in hand, on your own private balcony! The Dunes Suites offers both king and queen room options, each for up to 4 guests.
There’s one more bonus to consider when you stay on the boardwalk. If you enjoy biking, you’re in luck! Biking is permitted at all hours on the boardwalk during the standard spring break season, as restrictions don’t go into effect until Memorial Day. Rent some wheels from Bike World and have at it!
Note: Though most spring break dates wrap up prior to Springfest (April 24-27), we want to note that during the festival, biking is only permitted from 2:00 am-noon.
