Travel Itinerary: Build Your Perfect Festival Weekend

Ocean City is home to some pretty stellar breakfast spots. Here are some great places to fuel up before a day of music in the sun!

• Barn 34 (34th St.): The eggs benedict and Captain Crunch French toast are just as good as they sound.
• Bayside Skillet (77th St): Known as the place for crepes and omelettes, it’s the perfect spot for a sit-down breakfast before a long festival day.
• Crawl Street Tavern (Wicomoco St.): Just outside of the festival grounds, Crawl Street Tavern is a great place to grab some breakfast downtown.

Make the most of being in Ocean City by filling your mornings with a fun activity!

• Bike the Boardwalk: Rent bikes and ride the boardwalk before it fills in with festival crowds! You can grab rentals from Bike World.
• Beach Time: Once you enter the festival grounds you can’t access the ocean, so consider grabbing a book, getting a little bit of beach relaxation, and putting your feet in the water in the AM.
• Mini Golf: Challenge the group to a morning round of mini golf! With over 20 locations around town, there’s sure to be one that’s close to wherever you’re staying. Check out Nick’s Mini Golf and Professor Hacker's Lost Treasure Golf.

Since you’ll most likely be grabbing lunch before you head into the festival or taking a quick break from the music in the early afternoon, these lunch recommendations are all within walking distance of the festival footprint.

• The Angler (Talbot St.): This waterfront spot is great for enjoying lunch in the sunshine with a view of the bay.
• Fat Daddy’s (Dorchester St.): Grab yourself a hearty sandwich or pizza from this local’s favorite spot off of Baltimore Ave.
• Flamingo Coast (N. Division St.): Flamingo Coast is one of OC’s newest restaurants that offers both indoor and rooftop dining. Bonus: This one is actually inside of the festival! No re-entry required.

Use dinner as an excuse to explore more of Ocean City. These recommendations take you Midtown and Uptown, allowing you to really see it all!

• Ocean City Taphouse (45th St.): Taphouse features a unique menu with something for everyone to enjoy. Crab Cake Po’Boy, anyone?!
• Bull on the Beach (94th St.): Refuel with some pit beef from Bull on the Beach! At 94th Street, this uptown spot has some of the best roast beef sandwiches around.
• The Original Greene Turtle (116th St.): Greene Turtle is an OC staple where you simply can’t go wrong.

If your group doesn’t want the fun to end after the music stops, there are a number of places in town to enjoy!

• The Bearded Clam (Wicomico St.): Located just outside the festival grounds, The Bearded Clam is the perfect place to stop by for an orange crush.
• Treehouse Bar (Dorchester St.): For a quieter atmosphere, head to the Treehouse Bar. Their food comes from Fat Daddy’s next door, so you can get a late night snack here too!
• Seacrets (49th St.): Everyone knows Seacrets, and it’s always a popular spot. Drive up to 49th Street for even more live music after the festival ends.
