Friday
Back to Top of ListCheck In for Your Stay
Welcome to Ocean City! As you enter town, first head to your accommodations to drop off luggage, settle in, and relax a bit. No matter where you’re staying throughout town, you’re sure to be close to so many great restaurants, activities, and of course, the beach!
If you’ve yet to book your stay, here’s our guide on the different districts in town, and here is our list of recommended accommodations!
Afternoon
Kick off your weekend by challenging friends at Sportland Arcade or Fun City, where you can enjoy arcade games both old and new.
Then, it’s time for a fun happy hour! Spots like Flamingo Coast and Coconut Club offer gorgeous oceanfront ambiance and have menus packed with unique drink (both alcoholic and non) and food options! Mother’s Cantina is another great happy hour spot, serving up the perfect taco and margarita menu.
Evening
Enjoy a relaxed and refined dinner at 32 Palm! Located in the Hilton Oceanfront, this restaurant always keeps their menu fresh and up to date. Their options are delicious, no matter the time of year! Choose from items like seafood, bbq mac and cheese, smash burgers, crab melts, and so much more.
Nighttime
For a chic night out, head to the Treehouse Bar at 216 S. Baltimore Ave. You’ll know they’re open if the flag is out front! The Treehouse Bar features a vibe unlike anywhere else in Ocean City, and it’s perfect for enjoying with friends. Their drink menu is fantastic, and they serve the Fat Daddy’s food menu!
Saturday
Back to Top of ListMorning
There’s nothing as perfect as waking up on a Saturday in Ocean City! Start your day with coffees and a quick grab-and-go breakfast from Jay’s Cafe. Part of District 24, this spot features a super fun coffee menu and pastries!
After breakfast, head to the boardwalk! Depending on the weather, you’ve got options. If the weather is nice, Bike World may be up and running! If that’s the case, stop by to rent bikes or surreys, and enjoy rolling up and down the boardwalk amongst friends. No matter how many are in your group, Bike World has options! Just give them a call before arriving to check whether they’re open.
Your other option is equally memorable! Head to Flashback Old Time Photos to take fun photos in period style clothing. Choose from a variety of costumes and backdrops and make memories that you’ll cherish forever! During the off season, Flashback Old Time Photos is open most Saturdays and Sundays. Like Bike World, give them a quick call to confirm hours!
Midday
Once your morning activity shenanigans have come to a close, head to Ocean 13 to recharge. Their menu features everything from seafood to complex, sharable boards! You won’t want to miss this one.
Afternoon
The perfect afternoon activity lies at Seacrets Distilling Company, where you can tour the prohibition-themed distillery and learn all about the process, as well as some fun prohibition history! Tickets are just $15 per person and can be booked in advance.
Evening
From here, head back to your hotel to relax and get ready before heading out for a night on the town. Dinnertime comes with a variety of great options served up all around OC! Stop in to Skye Bar or Fager’s Island for delicious menu options. You can also stay at either location to enjoy the nightlife!
Sunday
Back to Top of ListMorning
As your Sunday begins, kick off the last day of the weekend with a peaceful boardwalk stroll. Start at the Inlet, and make your way north to the top of the walk for an easy and quick 2 miles. Bonus points if you rise early enough to enjoy the sunrise while walking! Follow that with a revitalizing breakfast at Barn 34. Once you’ve completed the boardwalk walk, it’s only 7 more blocks up the road!
Midday
After fueling up with breakfast, head out on the town to enjoy some shopping and pick up some final souvenirs. Shops like Malibu’s Surf Shop and Innerbloom offer unique goods and items that you’ll only find in Ocean City! Also, be sure to visit one of the Candy Kitchens around town to pick up some sweet treats for enjoying on the car ride home.
Afternoon
Once your shopping is complete, head to Taphouse (45th Street) for a quick bite before you head out of town. Taphouse has a huge menu with tasty, memorable choices (charred shishitos or lobster BLT, anyone?!). You’re sure to find your new favorite dish!
Though weekends in OC seem to fly by, there’s always time to plan your next visit! Download the Discover Ocean City app to make planning easy, and check out our other itineraries here.
In the off season, business hours vary. Be sure to check with individual businesses for their most up to date hours before stopping in!
