Next up, we have the Olive Oil Cake from Spain Wine Bar. This standout dessert was mentioned multiple times, and for good reason! It’s made with olive oil (as the name suggests), but that doesn’t mean the flavor is overpowering. Instead, the cake has only a hint of savory olive oil flavor. It’s a taste that’s different from other desserts, yet still incredibly satisfying. The cake is paired with cookies and cream ice cream for a perfectly rounded out conclusion to any meal!

Liquid Assets Dessert

If you’ve been to Liquid Assets, you likely know what we’re about to share. Amongst a lineup of delicious desserts sits one that has become a favorite for many: the Ice Cream Sandwich. What makes this dessert so special is that it’s not your average ice cream sandwich at all. Instead, it’s an incredible presentation of two soft, sugary, warm donuts placed on either side of a hefty scoop of Chesapeake Bay Farms’ God Bless the Queen ice cream. Then, it’s topped with a bourbon caramel sea salt drizzle that adds the perfect salty and sweet kick. It’s undoubtedly a must-try!

The Hobbit

The Hobbit’s signature Mary’s Delight dessert is exactly that: a delight. Once you try it, you’ll see why! The dessert starts with a base consisting of a crushed walnut crust. On top sits a layer of sweetened cream cheese, followed by chocolate pudding, and topped with homemade whipped cream. The result is simple, nostalgic, and delicious. It’s a blend of ingredients that has stood the test of time and been a favorite at The Hobbit for over 45 years!

Dolle's Candyland

We can’t complete this list without mentioning Dolle’s Candyland as the grand finale! Dolle’s began right on the boardwalk on the corner of Wicomico Street in 1910, and it’s been one of Ocean City’s most iconic staples ever since. All of their candy is made and manufactured right on-site, and the store is home to a wonderland of saltwater taffy, popcorn, fudge, caramels, chocolates, and more. Many of you mentioned their saltwater taffy as one of your go-to Ocean City sweet treats, and for good reason! The beachy treat is soft, chewy, and comes in a rainbow of colors and flavors.
