Dry 85

Dry 85

Dry 85 is a unique restaurant in town. Located on 45th Street (not 85th!), this OC spot gets its name from the 85 days that alcohol remained prohibited in Washington D.C. following the repeal of Prohibition. In addition to great food, Dry 85 is also serving up great cocktails. Particularly, the whiskey sour. Made with egg whites, it’s the real deal. 

Bearded Clam

The Bearded Clam

The Bearded Clam is one of downtown’s gems, especially if you’re in the mood for an orange crush. You can find them on Wicomico Street. With the addition of their new outdoor back patio area, you can enjoy your drinks under the stars as well!

Enjoy some nightlife from above when you head to the Skye Bar on 66th Street! Here, you’ll find a great atmosphere and delicious drinks, with live music daily from 4-8pm. Happy hour takes place each day and includes raw bar specials, too!
