Travel Itinerary: June Events Roundup & Must-Visit Spots

2026 marks 50 years of Ocean City’s iconic Ocean Bowl Skate Park! Located in between 3rd and 4th Street, the Ocean Bowl first welcomed skaters in 1976. Now, it’s time to celebrate 50 great years! Saturday, June 6th, head to the park from 4-6pm to enjoy music, memorabilia displays, awards, and of course, skating. Learn more here!

With the arrival of June comes the return of Sundaes in the Park! This family-friendly summer event series is beloved by both locals and visitors. On Sundays, hundreds gather in Northside Park to enjoy live music, games, ice cream, bayside sunsets, and fireworks! The fun takes place each and every Sunday June 7-August 30 from 7-9pm.

June dates include June 7, 14, 21, and 28.

The Air Show is one of Ocean City’s most popular events, and it returns June 13-14! Brought to town by the Air Dot Show, this year’s event will be headlined by the U.S. Air Force Thunderbirds. The center of the show will take place between 13th-17th Streets. Any spot on the sand will be perfect for viewing! Go Surfing

Ocean City is home to pretty great surf. Though the winter often treats our ocean to larger waves, there is still an ocean of fun to be had during the summer! In fact, June is a great time to learn because the swells are manageable and the beach isn’t jam-packed. Bring your boards to town or rent them from one of our surf shops like K-Coast or Malibu’s.

Ride Bikes on the Boardwalk

Biking on the boardwalk is an Ocean City rite of passage! Spend a morning in town renting bikes from Bike World and enjoying the nearly 3 mile stretch from the Inlet to 27th Street. Bike World offers a variety of rental options, with everything from regular bicycles to surreys, fun cycles, choppers, and even tandems! Grab your rentals from one of their five locations: Caroline Street, 1st Street, 8th Street, 18th Street, and 27th Street.

Visit the Ocean City Parks

Did you know that Ocean City is home to 15 parks? Make it a bucket list item to visit them all! Many feature jungle gyms, swings, and plenty of area to throw around a ball and get active. Some are great for fishing, and some feature tennis and pickleball courts! Start uptown at North Surf Park off of 142nd Street, and make your way all the way down to the Inlet, stopping at each park along the way.
